My Lake District 1

The snow has nearly all melted into grass edged "lakes" in my backyard . For the second day in a row our afternoon temperatures are nearly 20ºC or 70ºF. Record breaking, I believe.  I heard that Washington D.C. is expecting 80º today... that is a record. Where I live 80ºF is the heat of summer.
We will keep it in the book but tomorrow another 3 inches of snow is predicted. It is good to know there is green grass under it all.
This is prefect vole hunting weather for the cats. Have to keep all doors closed so they do not bring their live toys inside.
