LIKE A SHAG ON A ROCK....

... was the call from the Girls Ice Skating team in the AOG (Alternative Olympics) today!

After really cold weather early in the games it is now quite mild and the ice ring just simply melted around the team just as they were about to perform.

The disappointment for them was more the fact if asked, they could have put on a display of "duck  shag dive" pirouettes!

Oh well time for a stretch and relax it seems.

This is on one of the Lakes scheme lakes I showed a short while back..

Coming back home today one of the gates were open so of course (as you do) went in to check it out! Did not even see the sign saying "Do Not Enter".... really was that there!!???

Anyway while there took a pano in extra, and trust the gate will be open more often!!
