Bedraggled

At last the rain stopped about lunchtime. The former cyclone Gita spared us the wind, but gave us 98mm of rain. This might not seem much rain for some folks, but I live in a dry district where 20mm is a lot. Everything has been left bedraggled.

I searched the garden for praying mantises, but found only two- an adult female, and the little nymph I found on the bathroom window a few days ago. There were very few insects about.
