Storm Gone...

It was a sorta noisy night. I was sleeping in the lounge bit and The Boss had left one of the north facing windows open a tad to put some air through and the shrieking and stuff was very distracting but the day dawned and The Bossess departed on a plane YES!!! so we went staggering in the sun and found this scene on the top of the Botanical Gardens. There was also a Cafe there but there was also a cruise ship in town so he decided to walk on rather than try to fit in. The cruise ships mostly only stay one day so it’s probably a good idea to check the wharf which we can see easily enough before getting excited about the Cable Car Cafe.
The Boss wondered what sort of a night the cruise ship had enjoyed.
We were lucky I think ‘Cos Takaka in the North of the South island is completely cut off as the highway turned into a river and it will be days or weeks before it re opens to the point that there is a barge of supplies on the way by sea.
