The Other Borrowdale

Fabulous U3A walk in the other Borrowdale, east of the A6. Started from Huck's Bridge and headed out along the Whinfell ridge over Mabbin Crag, Castle Crag and Whinfell Beacon. After visiting the beautiful Borrowdale valley for a short stretch we climbed up the ridge on the other side and came back over Winterscleugh and Whinash Fell. The blip shows us enjoying lunch in the sunshine down by Borrow Beck. Couple of views of the stunning scenery in extras. 11 miles, nearly 3000' of ascent and we saw no one else all day - just wonderful.
