Syria

We had a lovely long visit with Syrian friends this afternoon. It was great to meet their extended family for the first time and lovely that our children are really enjoying spending time with them (they spent ages today sliding down a heap of dirt together on a piece of cardboard! ) . Their life is so hard and their future so bleak. But not nearly as bad as the terrible conditions in Ghouta near Damascus. And the world does nothing it seems.
