In The Occupied Territory

Pretty good day

Drove to Cornhill to pick up my car, then had coffee at Annie’s Cakery in Macduff. I then washed my car at a jet wash before deciding to take a drive along the coast road.
Went to Crovie (pronounced Crivie). The only village in the country that has no cars allowed in it. The car park is quite a bit up the hill, so I left the walk down for another day.
My next idea was to visit Troup ahead bird reserve, but in arriving at the farm that you have to go through to get there the farmer informed me that the car warm was closed for repairs and that I had to leave my car in the farmyard. I declined as I wasn’t dressed for trailing through mud.
So I headed home. On the way I spotted a sign saying, ‘ Cullykhan Bay.’
intrigued I drove down and found this wonderful, little bay.
I took a few pictures and couldn’t decide which one to use, so I made a collage with them all.
Top left Crovie. Bottom right, Cullykhan Bay.
The other two are views of the area.
So, part from not getting to the places I wanted, and my car dirtier than it was before, it was a pretty good day
