A Carpet Of Autumn Leaves.....!

Spent the most pleasant afternoon with my friend Daisy Days at Mount Usher Garden in Co. Wicklow today.........!
It is the most beautiful place on a fine sunny day in Autumn owing to its abundance of native and foreign trees and shrubs........!
We took so many photos that it was difficult to choose what to Blip...so I went with this one......a beautiful carpet of colourful leaves....
The river flowing right thru' the estate is called The Vartry......and it was very full and fast today.....with several bridges across it with wonderful views from them.....!
We had a lovely day with a delicious lunch at The Avoca Restaurant in the courtyard...with the weather pleasant enough to sit outside...
It was a total break for me......with daughter S holding 'the fort' at home.......
Apparently Kitty was very disappointed he couldn't come and 'meowed' all day 'til I came home!............................
