Guardian in the forest

An open-air theater lay in the middle of the forest in Rimburg in the thirties of the last century. The local relief and the vegetation formed part of the scene, which the stage on the south side of the Hoolgrub knew: the spectators stood or sat in the bank on the north side of the road on wooden benches. The whole formed an inspiring environment for various theater performances. After the Second World War, the open-air theater was slowly but surely lost and nowadays almost nothing of the former open-air theater is visible anymore. The idea arose to partially revive the history.
At that time, among other things, theater plays were played on the Bokkerijders.
The chainsaw artist Roel van Wylick has realized a beautiful carving on the spot from a tree.
