Iceland light

This was probably my favourite shot today - it's not perfect, but I do like it. When we got to this place, which was where we were having lunch, this group of rocks was virtually obscured by mist. The light was dim. I saw the rocks and thought they were beautiful, but the photo wasn't going to work. We went in and had lunch (delicious sweet potato soup), then I had to quickly buy some shoes because my existing ones wouldn't work with crampons - no new shoes, no glacier walk. Thankfully the outlet store had some suitable shoes at an almost reasonable price. Then I was rushing back to our little group of 13, knowing that I was last and everyone was waiting. Just as I got to the bus, I looked up and saw the light. Thankfully my travelling companions were happy to wait for me when I told them "I just had to try and get a good shot - the light was beautiful". This is the result. Please move past the thumbnail - I think it upsets the balance :(
