A visit to uncle Joe’s Home town

Today I visited Gori ahead of a work trip in Georgia. The town was the birthplace of Joseph Stalin (I won’t attempt his Georgian name), there is a museum dedicated to him there but after going around it today I would call it more of a shrine - they obviously feel a lot of respect and admiration for the local boy ‘done good’. Getting there involved lots of adventures with mini buses and feelings of relief that I hadn’t accidentally got on a bus toArmenia!
