Cheap Swiss Luxury

My daughter wanted some Toblerone but all I could find at our cheap discounter were other Swiss chocolates. She would have liked the chocolate Lindt sheep and chickens but not the price.

So, Kate, you and I will have to make do with Cadbury's and Milka Lidl & Aldi own brand chocolate. Some others have all the luck.

Pretty nothing day weatherwise - cold, the snow won't melt, cloudy.

Dog walk this evening was good in the dark but cold. Met an old dog walking friend we hadn't seen for months. He has been training his dog to become an official rescue dog but when I asked if all the exams now done, he said he had given up as the testing was too .... testing. So no Swiss avalanche rescue work for him. And he didn't have a barrel of schnapps tied around his neck either. But Luna was pleased to see the dog and a bit later we met another big dog that Luna also accepted. Turned out the two owners had met our two out with Angie.

Loaded the pooches in the jalopy and chauffered them home, via the supermarket where no British goods on offer. I didn't have enough Swiss Francs in the wallet to buy any of those bliped.
