50/365 Rufus Stone !!

50/365  Rufus Stone !! Deep in the New Forest stands a monument to King “Rufus” William 2nd killed on 2nd August 1100 ad in a “hunting accident”, the stone marks the spot where an oak tree stood that was meant to have deflected an arrow into King Rufus killing him.
