More room
Posting 19/02/18 on a special occassion.
Very lucky to have been invited on an 8-day short break to Corfu.
May fill in more another day.
This was taken after landing at Corfu from Southampton. I was lucky to have been asked to sit up front on the jump seat. It's a part of many peoples holiday to Corfu to spend an hour up at the cafe on the hill alongside the runway and overlooking Mouse Island.
Frightening when landing in a normal big passenger jet but quite another thing when you can see what is happening in front.
We were a party of eight passengers plus two pilots and one stewardess. Aircraft was a British Aerospace 125-800A built two years before in 1988. She went to be sold on to a Swiss company, then to India and finally Texas where she is still (2018) in operation.
Seats had a bit more room than your average charter machine.
