On the Boat

Up at 6:30 and down to Granton to catch the first rays of morning sunlight: the day of the big lift out. It was dreich awhile but 'came away nice' and the Ouzel has a new overwintering spot, up at the north end of the yard, with a sea view - and away from the big puddle and the shadow of the flats. Here is Fiddler on its trailer (it's for sale, people - junk-rigged and easily handled).
Home and then out to see 'On the Road' at the Cameo - the bit that bowled me over was right at the end when there was a voiceover of the last few lines of the book; made you realise that it probably is hard to do it justice. Sometimes imagination is best left with you.
