xmas eve

not much retail stress in our family this year

bit of surfing, bit of chilling followed by the local town's xmas eve celebrations. the high street was closed to traffic and the rotarians had pulled all the stops out - a meat pie eating competition, a best decorated bicycle competition (tinsel a-go-go), fancy dress, santa handing out ice lollies and pyromaniac's dream - the most spectacular fireworks.
