Flowers.....

....in the older part of the cemetery.

Each day while hubby and I are here in Masterton, we've decided to take a wander through the park just to have some fresh air as it's nice and handy to the house. In the next few blips I'll try to capture some of the park rather than bore you with sorting of things back at my late in-laws house.

Today it was just nice to quietly wander through the older part of Pioneer Cemetery. Some headstones are quite elaborate, while other's are needing some 'tender loving care'. It's a large cemetery in the centre of town, old trees everywhere providing a wonderful habitat for native and introduced birds, the chorus of birdsong is beautiful. Everyone is here, the not so recent, the recent, and those who served both world wars. I was touched to see someone was still visiting the older graves.

Friday.....a day of light showers and pockets of sun, 11C, thankful for family calling to see how they can help.

This is a backblip.....during the time emotions were high, low and everything inbetween, it was a huge task to sort and empty the house ready for sale, we got there asyoudo but some days I just couldn't blip, so here I am, quite a while later......
