Cones?

It was definitely warmer at the golf this morning, didn't need the woolly hat, but my golf was still rubbish so I can't use the cold as an excuse after all. I may have to bite the bullet and actually start practicing.
No idea what kind of tree was bearing these cone-looking things I'm afraid.
