Lone Tree

I went out with my husband today to Blithfield Reservoir - he wanted to test  how a scope he's been lent performed against his own. It's been another grey, dreary day but I thought there might be something coming to life so I took my macro lens.
Though I took pictures of gorse and snowdrops, this is the image I preferred - not the most usual use for a macro lens.
