Dancing In The Dark

Under the spotlight, they danced. 

The arena here at the AOG fell utterly silent, not a murmur or noise broke the spell and it was as if they were alone, dancing in the dark, just the two of them listening to their favourite song; looking so beautiful. With the spotlights just glancing off their feathers to add the magic that was Serena and Sydney this evening the audience were enthralled. Being utterly engrossed in each other with a chemistry that, back in the village wasn't hard to miss, it proved to be the winning finale and a gold medal which really wasn't in doubt. 

Managing to squeeze my way into the throng for an interview,  the happy couple clinging to each other in excitement couldn't wait to share the happy news of their forthcoming nuptials and Serena was sporting the bling proudly. Masses of cheering fans were clamouring outside by the lake and they obligingly stepped back out to share their happiness!
