Going home day

Back blip as we didn't get home till nearly 1 am from our week in Fuerteventura. Needless to say the sun shone from first thing and it was a glorious day - the warmest of the week !

We enjoyed a leisurely coffee down at the harbour and watched the bronzed young man creating his sand sculpture and then had a delicious salad where we had eaten the first day.

As we left Corralejo on the way to the airport we stopped at the side of the road and I wandered into the vast El Jable sand dunes where I happened upon a group of goats, 3 adults and a kid , nibbling away at the clumps of vegetation scattered amongst the sand. ( extras)

The usual shock to the system leaving a sunny 25 C and arriving in Edinburgh in the dark at 2 C !
