Primeval

Another pretty day, so after a quick lunch we went for a walk round the village. Managed to drop off some stuff at the recycling centre, check on the community orchard and then walk back past the river, counting fish and ducks.

Today's blip is from the marshy area in the village where the river meanders in many small channels. For many years it's been very dry and stressed, at the moment there is water there, and the flag iris are starting to grow again. I always think it looks rather Jurassic, lots of trees and very little grass... Where is the T-Rex?
