A Child's Moon

Hey diddle diddle,
The Cat and the fiddle,
The Cow jumped over the moon,
The little Dog laughed to see such fun,
And the Dish ran away with the Spoon

I still carry with me two thoughts with me from childhood nursery rhymes.
This is the first. Whenever I see a crescent moon, I imagine a cow jumping over it in the sky.

Larger moon.

The other is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". Whenever I see the first star of the night, I recite the verse softly to myself and follow it with a wish.

I suppose, no matter how old we get, there's still a child within each of us.
