Clouds Moving In

Later in the day, a gathering of friends in honor of the visit of one particular friend, M., to the Twin Cities from desert climes. I hadn't seen her for a couple of years. It was wonderful, although as so often nowadays, I found myself preoccupied. I do love everyone so, and I worry about them and for them.

It's been a beautiful Fall, spectacular colors (now mostly gone with the fallen leaves), and I love its coolness after the boiling steamy heat of this Summer; but we really really need some rain. The Summer and Fall so far have been bone-dry with the exception of a couple of days recently, thank goodness.
