Water Tower
After a good night's sleep travails of yesterday were a not so distant memory, but my brain had recovered sufficiently to enjoy my morning coffee, have a calm and civilized conversation with OilMan about moving of furniture, transfers of ridiculous amounts of paper from one person who will never read them to another person who will never read them, and a brief discussion of the health of our various devices--all except OilMan's iPad which escaped a stay in the computer ICU yesterday.
By the time we finished with all that, a walk was definitely in order lest yesterday's paralysis creep back in. Although the weather is still beautiful, sunny and warm, the mornings are misty, presaging the predicted change to cold and rainy by Monday. This is a picture of what a REAL farmhouse looks like, including the wonderful old water tower, once common everywhere that used well water. Now there are pumps to take the place of gravity, and many towers have been torn down or turned into guest houses, offices or left to age gracefully as this one has.
OilMan had his turn with Ravinder tonight when, just as I was putting dinner on the table the PC Care expert called to see how everything was going. Since he had his iPad with him and it escaped the dragnet yesterday, he was forced to go through the whole process of checking out the iPad from somewhere in India. We seem to have a clean bill of health device-wise and I refuse to think about it anymore....I wonder what my iPhone bill will be?
