perseverance

This little statue lives in a small local cemetey, the same neglected place where I took pictures of some old gravestones a little while ago. She looks a bit forlorn next to the giant tree and it was this setting that made me want to take a picture. She has accumulated quite a bit of green patina which looks very interesting but that is of course lost in mono. Eleven more days to go until I finally can put up some color - I am looking forward to it.
