Lent Challenge .....This tiny cross is made from oak from one of the famous four oaks of Sutton Coldfield, blown down in the hurricane of 1987. An elderly gentleman, virtually blind, collected some of the discarded wood & made these crosses as gifts for visitors to his church. I took anniversary services in his church some years ago and was given this wonderful cross, along with the wonderful story. By this time he was 92 years old.
