Higher!!!

ArcaneSpark and family left Sheffield bright and early and were with us by 11:30.  Much fun laughter and games ensued until lunchtime.  After lunch and with good sunshine we decided to pop down the road to the Beehive where there is a childrens' playground.

The adults sat in the sunshine and talked while the grandkids rushed hither and thither.  Emily wanted a go on the swings and when Granddad's arm got tired Mum took over.  During both sessions the constant chant was Higher!  Higher!  Higher!

While we were there there was a short sharp shower but not long enough for us to gather up the things and head for cover.  Emily of course was still calling Higher!   The shot I chose happened to be during the shower so you can see the rain as little streaks.

Incidentally I didn't notice the smudge of dirt on her cheek until after I took the shot.
