A Monkey's Tale

Russel Kane @ the Brighton Dome

As part of the Brighton Comedy Festival, Russel Kane took to the stage in front of a packed out crowd at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall. My doppelganger Willow came to visit & joined Jen & I for the show. It was a real pleasure & a privilege to have him with us.

Mr Kane was also on top form. Such an entertainer, genuine & funny at the same time. I've loved & enjoyed him on TV for the past few years & I've always craved to see his stand up & it really didn't disappoint. He had the whole crowd in stitches with his heart felt, endearing & overwhelming energetic stories. Talking us through the raising of his imaginary son Ivan made for a brilliant comedy focal point. Such an intelligent & all round switched on performer - basically he's just brilliant, & his quiff ain't half bad either! A great evening spent with some special people, made even happier with the consumption of a few bevvies (slightly more than I've recently been used too), a very funny man, & a Meatball Marinara from Subways at the end. Textbook.

Top performance. Top night. Totally tip top.
