RIVER TYNE

As I hadn't left the house for 2 days I decided to make the effort to go out today. I didn't do my big Asda shop this week so I needed to stock up on fresh food and decided to go to Newcastle. Got the bus to Gateshead then the shuttle bus which goes across The Swing Bridge to The Quayside in Newcastle. Took quite a few photos and then got the bus to Newcastle city centre.

This photo shows the Millennium Bridge and Baltic Art Gallery in the distance, The Sage music centre on the right and of course the Tyne Bridge.

The weather this morning was bright and sunny but by the time I left the house it was overcast. I thought at times that it might rain but it stayed dry.
