Biggar is better

part of a beautiful mural on the back wall of the Purves Puppets theatre in Biggar, Scotland. This is painted by Ian Purves and the detail, even up close, is astonishing. There is much relief in the costumes, and many have jewels inset. It hnts at lots of Russian folktales and more. It is an astonishing work of art. And a great theatre, where they put on puppets shows in rep. I have done two screenings of my films there as part of the town's art festival. Great people and wonderful hospitality.
