Dahlia.....

When I was a child my mother grew lots of dahlias in our large garden. They seemed very commonplace back then and went right out of fashion. Today I attended the National Dahlia Show here in Blenheim. Dahlias are very popular and are right back in fashion. I was amazed at the beauty of these flowers, the differing varieties, sizes and glorious colours. It was a feast for the eyes!
