Panther
Down to London on the train with my girls, meeting up with the-other-member-of-the-family at Kings Cross, she joining us after being elsewhere for the last couple of days. And, about 20 minutes after hopping on the Victoria Line we were down in Brixton and in the Premier Inn just down the road from the tube station. This is the view out the window of our room and those houses are on Electric Avenue, site of a vibrant market mainly full of butchers catering to all religions and fishmongers (likewise). Also, that yard in the foreground of the photo was full of mannequins in the morning - not quite sure what went on there, but it was pretty interesting nonetheless.
Plan was to use our Oyster cards to head back into central London for a bit of sightseeing and a walk along the river but it was such a miserable, dark, rainy night that we just crossed the road from the hotel to The Ritzy and sat in the bar with drinks and food before going to see Black Panther. Decent enough, and different to your usual superhero stuff for sure.
