Boat at Blakeney

Today I went for a really lovely afternoon tea at the Blakeney Hotel with G, M and M's daughter K. The food and the company were both delightful. Before going in we just had time for a quick look at the quay and to snap this boat with the glorious blue sky behind. Two sunny days in a row - whatever next this horrible winter!!!

Since moving to North Norfolk I've been amazed at how much easier it is to see the stars. Tonight I had a go at photographing them from my back garden - see Extra. I didn't get the focusing right and to be honest I'm not sure how I can do this - so any advice would be welcome.
