Diana Dipper

Warming up on the sidelines waiting to be be called to dive in the first event of the afternoon in the AOG , I captured a quick shot of the illustrious Diana. Not that she was in any way backward to coming forward .....

Diana Dipper, the doyenne  of the dipper damsels and THE ultimate dipper goddess down here deep in the Forest of Dean posed without demure. Pretty confident that no-one but no-one could beat her in the water today. 

However a  huge catastrophe ensued with dastardly consequences and she came second, losing her gold medal position, with a bit of a fracas. Accusations flying round the village were fuelled with a Tweet from Diana saying she had never been so demeaned 'in all her life!' A damsel in distress methinks ....

Another great afternoon owling in the Cotswolds and great to meet up again with the fabulously entertaining JDO for the second day running! We knew people would be starting to talk! :)) 

My morning was spent down in the Forest catching those dippers with Poppy who was unfortunately carsick on the way there. Gruesome.  Washing the bedding as I type this but oh the smell!
