Post-box on a post-box post.

This is the post-box at Warnell, between Caldbeck and Wigton, mounted on an ivy-covered wooden post.  It's not one of the oldest in the area, we still have some with VR or GR on them.  There was one like it on the edge of Caldbeck at a place called Blue Gate, which is at the top of Ratten Row.  Till someone came along with a chainsaw and made off with the post-box, its contents, and the top of the post.  A new one was later installed in its place on a metal pole.
