Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias

We were told that you either love or hate this futuristic development built in the old riverbed (drained in the 1950s and now lovely 9km park that runs through centre of Valencia). The architect, Santiago Calatrava, was controversially, €45m over-budget!
I especially loved the prolific use of these blue and white mosaic tiles. Mirroring the blue tiles on all of the cupolas in Valencia.
Lots of walking and sightseeing today.
Back to reality tomorrow. Very early start!
