Birthday Laddie...

Rabbie Burns 250th birthday today. Dumfries put on a big celebration turning the Whitesands into a big stage. One of the highlights was the lantern parade & the fire sculpture of Tam O Shanter. The place was packed with people; I have never seen it so busy. So many camera's & cold people, so glad it stayed dry.

In this shot you can see the fire sculpture in the middle, the light show to highlight the smoke in the bush's at the front & at the back of the picture you can see all the people lined up by the river.

Ps/ the advanced driving went really well, I got 2 A+. Yeahhhaa! So chuffed, need to practice my parallel parking more, its still hit or miss if I can do it.
