The Camargue

We have had a brilliant warm day in the Camargue. There were thousands of flamingoes, nesting storks, a heronry, egrets, cormorants and a type of beaver. Could have spent all day watching the antics of the flamingoes.
We then went to Sainte Marie de la mer and saw a huge funeral. Lots of white horses and people in traditional costume followed the hearse. An amazing event.
