Squeezed.

I am fascinated by these old cottages. Was the middle one squeezed in after the others were built or was it built first? Looking at the brickwork I think the latter, having said that,  there have been a number of alterations. The right hand side of the centre cottages appears to have been an out building, maybe a stable or a shop. There are arches, lintels in wood and stone plus added windows. All very interesting and just one small building in this lovely village.
Thanks everyone for all the recent stars, I'm sorry if I haven't said a personal thankyou, I've been a little bit lazy recently.
