Another bird!

A beautiful day here in the NE of Scotland
Blue skies, no wind but rather cold.
We met an old friend ( I used to share a flat with him many moons ago) and we went for a walk with the dogs and I saw this beauty. I wish I could share the rather fine rat-a-tat-tat sound he was making.
We then went for a cup of coffee and pancakes
All most enjoyable.
