Lake of Menteith

The colours of autumn are beginning gradually to appear in Loch Ard Forest and the blip for today was to have been an autumn shot. On the way home however I stopped at a favourite spot by the Lake of Menteith and caught this image as the sun came out in the late afternoon. Peaceful and tranquil the lake is a wonderful spot in all weathers
