Christmas in Capioví
The Christmas Festival is a celebration that takes place every year in the city of Capioví, province of Misiones, in Argentina.
It takes place during the second half of December through the main streets of the city, which are decorated especially for the occasion with recycled materials donated by neighbors throughout the year. Especially plastic bottles.
The show remains for 60 days and every weekend of those two months the scene of the Plaza Los Pioneros hosts shows linked to the celebration of Christmas.
Capioví is located in the central part of Misiones, 121 kilometers from Posadas, the capital of the province, and 167 kilometers from Puerto Iguazú.
