Plus ça change...

Bright lights, big city

Not so big, but a metropolis compared to our village.

Warm, spring-like day - 18 degrees! I was alarmed by how much condensation there was on the glass at the front of the house ... until I realised it was outside - it being so much warmer outside than in! So, the windows were all thrown open and - once work and shopping were out of the way - I gardened. Well, I cleared some brambles and cut the dead bits off some hedge that had been swamped by brambles last year - it seems to be regenerating now.

And I longed for a boundary, as my new neighbour's slash and burn policy felt perilously close to my garden today... The wonderful Omar is coming tomorrow and will hopefully sort everything out for me in his usual charming way.

Later, I took the rabbits out for some exercise. Must work on their recall skills for next time a cat appears....

In other news, the kids were annoying and I find that my only conversation today was with a neighbour who annoys me. Imagine how grumpy I'd be if I hadn't had the gardening interlude!
