The big news today is that we (finally) uploaded to the publisher's review system the revised version of the last of our seven journal articles from September.
This means we currently have four papers that have been accepted (with links to the manuscripts should you be interested in finding out more). These are on the themes of:
(1) Information channels for citizen democratic engagement
(2) Networking and social media use amongst young job seekers
(3) UK public library roles and value
(4) Social Cognitive Theory and Information Science research
We then have three revised submissions for which we await decisions. These are about:
(1) The social impact of digital youth participation
(2) Tacit knowledge sharing online
(3) The management of professional and private information on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
I worked at home today with a nice break mid-morning to catch up by phone with my Cousin TBay.
I took my blip when out on a quick errand this morning*. This is a composite picture that was painted by a group of colleagues, each of whom was assigned a portion of the canvas. I'd love to see how my own team would manage such a task!
*To the GP practice for tests to check that I am fit for surgery.
Exercise today: a bit of walking (5,894 steps)
