Dark Hellebore

On 28th January I blipped one of my Hellebores - a pale pink one. I now have two beautiful dark purple ones - same colour but slightly different petal formation. I found them impossible to photograph in situ, and standing the pot on the wheelie bin didn't work this time due to the wind. So I took them inside the front door and found the easiest way was to lie the pot on its side in order to get the flower against a plain background!
The other variety didn't work as the petals were curled inwards more tightly and there was no visible centre to focus on.
