Stag in the Sky

I was in Edinburgh today for my last piece of work on a contract. Since it was a fairly straight forward change to do and I had no need to rush back to Glasgow, so I decided to take my camera with me and take a couple of shots over in Edinburgh.

This is an image of the stag that perches on top of one of the churches on the Canongate. The church is obviously something to do with James VI, but I don't know the significance of the stag. Still against a blue sky (surprising in autumn) it looked quite striking.
