Protection

Very cold and blowy up in Carnoustie this morning but there was, predictably, still a few groups out there braving the elements. They have to play off mats this time of year to protect the greens, especially as its Open year.

I was mostly indoors presenting ideas, watching the snow come down through the window, then talking about food.

After three hours I came out of the meeting to discover the meeting in Wales was postponed. Hurrah. So, I could drive home and have dinner with the family then settle down with Joe and watch Liverpool trounce Porto. A great result all round.
