Day Out

I got up early and drove to Aylsham. I'd booked an appointment at a hairdressers. It just had to be done. I was pleased with the result and glad to be rid of the dead dry frizz. I got home just before 10 hoping Henry would be ready to go out, as we had a day in Norwich planned. He was still in bed!! I wasn't worried. We had a bit of breakfast then got away at 11.

After 3 or more hours of walking around the shops I was ready to drop. We took a cup of soup over to Jon who was at the job on Earlham Road where I met him last week. He was freezing.

We caught the park and ride bus back to Sprowston at 4 and were home by 5. Just in time as the heavens opened. I chose the right day to do my garden Monday. Tomorrow we will drive down to Hoddesdon later on, then Friday it is Jim's funeral. We don't want to risk leaving the drive down until Friday morning.

Jon bought me a beautiful Valentine's card. I couldn't remember whether we still did all that...We do. I bought one today for him, but it doesn't stop me feeling guilty!

Henry baked some amazing cookies and later we are all going to see a film. I can't remember what it's called and don't know what it's about. It might be a super hero. I'd better get ready....
