Valentine's Day Sunrise
The best of the day was always going to be early (weather wise) so I popped out just as the sky started to colour. The local canal had a thin veneer of ice to add texture to the scene.
Then it was fitting of a new Roman blind in the bedroom before a Valentine's Day lunch with my wife at the Oakley Arms in Brewood. It gives us great pleasure to be able to go back to our wedding venue on special occasions.
Once home we were looking for a 'Sunday afternoon' film and selected Light between the Oceans, something we now realise is guaranteed to bring a tear to the eye. I assume some of our Australian blippers will know the location for the film. The cinematography was exceptional.
**I should have asked our New Zealand blippers as well! from a bit of research it seems the lighthouse and cottage are at Cape Campbell on the Cook Straight, South Island**
